Oksana Moria from Ukraine (2nd R) was crowned the first Miss Supranational during a spectacular event held at the Plock Amphitheater. With her, Brazil (Miss Supranational Americas), Poland (2nd RU) and Belarus (1st RU).

MISS VIETNAM WINS BEST NATIONAL DRESS COMPETITION AND MISS ALBANIA WINS MISS TALENT COMPETITION

Following the grand opening of the St. George Hotel in Ciechocinek, the Miss Supranational contestants participated in the National Dress Competition and Talent night in front of an audience of hundreds. After difficult deliberation, the results were as follow:

-Best National Dress: Vietnam, Chung Nguyen
-Miss Talent: Albania, Borana Kalemi, who danced ballet to a piece composed by Frederic Chopin and received a thunderous ovation from the audience.

England wins Best Body Competition



Miss England, Amanda Ball, was chosen as the winner of the Best Body Competition held at the Body Perfect gym in Olsztyn, Poland, on August 22nd. The 1st runner-up was Miss Belarus, Lepesha; and the 2nd runner-up was Miss Ukraine, Oksana Murya.

The Best Body prize is one of four special prizes to be handled during the live telecast of Miss Supranational 2009 on September 5th, the others being Miss Photogenic, Miss Friendship and Best National Costume.





First Miss Supranational to be elected in Poland

A new sovereign of Global Beauty is to be elected on 5 September 2009 in Poland: Miss Supranational.

The venue will be a majestic modern amphitheater close to Warsaw, the capital of the Central European country.
