A little changeup here from my prior blogs in the past. For the longest time, I was a hip-hop man only. But lately, I am proud to say that has changed. I have developed an infinity towards folk/indie music as of late, and this band has been the sole reason for it. Bon Iver, a band lead by frontman Justin Vernon, makes simply: beautiful music. This song is off of their debut album, "For Emma, Forever Ago". The story goes that Justin Vernon locked himself off from society for a few months in a cabin Wisconson, and this is what he came up with.
If you're skeptical, just give this song a listen. I would've thought the same thing not more than a few months ago. But it has definitely opened my eyes to an entire new spectrum of music.
